The room has stains on the walls, the refrigerator was not cold and wouldn’t keep no food cold, the AC can not be turned down low enough to cool off the room. For the price you pay to stay here, It would have been nice to sleep comfortably and not sweating.

They use a digital remote check in and there were glitches and poor understanding of questions asked and responses from staff. Would have liked a in person desk clerk. The room was fine and tidy.

This is a quaint hotel with large rooms and very spacious. But, if you have a problem with steps there are a lot of steps to get into the hotel and more steps to the dining area. There is no handicap entrance to the hotel. This hotel is not very close to the main sights in Rome. It costs 155 Euros from the airport to this hotel. It is on a very small street. Taxi service is excellent and is arranged by the person on duty at the desk. They have a 24hour desk service. No Ice machines on the floors, but if you call the desk, (dial 9, didn't know that originally) they will eventually deliver you ice. It is quicker to just go down and ask at the desk. The restaurant next door is good and convenient, but is pricey. FYI there is an ATM (Bankomat) located just up the street and very inexpensive getting euros. Other ATM's charge a hefty price.
